January 15, 2020

At the beginning of 2019, I followed Tim Ferris' advice from his book
the 4 Hour work week.  Some of the goals I wanted to achieve were;
run a 1/2 marathon,  travel more, and read one book a month.
After writing my goals on January 1st.  I determined 3 steps to achieve each goal.
Some of my 2019 goals were:
Running a 1/2 marathon
1. Choose a race
2. Sign up for race
3. Make a training plan
Traveling more
1. Select a location
2. Plan time of travel
3. Hopper to find the best prices for flights
Reading a book per month
1. Pick an unread book off your bookshelf to read
2. Created a book log to help me stay on track
3. Write read on my to-do list so I didn't forget
At the end of 2019, I accomplished about 70% of my goals.
I ran TWO 1/2 marathons
Traveled to 3 countries, and 4 states
and read 12 books!
Something I learned was to stop talking about my "wants"
and to start making baby steps and to go after them.
Life moves fast, and you don't want to look back and think
"I wish I would have..."
Hopefully, this helps you start the decade off on the right foot!

to keep you focused.
Good luck,
